FAQ

The top buyer questions, answered.

SpinGate charges a flat $0.10 with crypto or $0.50 with card, accepts BTC, ETH, USDC, USDT, and Stripe-hosted USD, and forgets everything the moment you disconnect. The eight answers below cover the questions we hear most before a buyer pays.

Pricing

How the flat price works.

A single session, a single charge — no subscription trap and no per-month footprint. The cost stops the moment you disconnect.

  • Why $0.10 a session?

A flat price covers one encrypted tunnel on a real exit region, paid once, with no subscription and no monthly minimum. See /pricing for the full rail breakdown.

  • Is there a free trial?

No free trial. A single session at $0.10 (crypto) or $0.50 (card) is the entry point — no email, no account, no auto-renew.

Access

Where SpinGate connects you from.

Exit-region jurisdiction-shuffle, no logs that outlast the session, and a clear list of places SpinGate refuses to operate.

  • Which countries are restricted?

SpinGate blocks access from the same jurisdictions most consumer VPNs block — sanctioned and embargoed regions — because operating there is unlawful regardless of the user’s intent. Read the jurisdiction-shuffle guide for the reasoning behind the blocklist.

  • Do you log my activity?

No VPN traffic logs, no DNS logs, no IP retention past the active session; the connection state ends the moment you disconnect. See /about for the full no-log architecture.

Payments & refunds

How checkout, failure, and refunds behave.

Crypto rails settle on mainnet; the card rail is auth-gated and routes through Stripe Connect. A failed or unused payment never opens a tunnel.

  • What if my payment fails?

The on-chain transaction is the receipt. A failed or underpaid send never mints a voucher and never opens a tunnel — no money is held and you can simply retry.

  • How do refunds work?

Guest crypto vouchers are unredeemed by default; no service was used, no refund to issue. Card refunds travel the Stripe-mediated flow. See /pricing for the card rail's Stripe-mediated flow.

  • Can I pay with USDT or BTC?

Yes — USDT and BTC are accepted at checkout alongside ETH, USDC, and card. The card rail is $0.50 because that is Stripe’s per-charge minimum. Open /checkout to pick a token.

After payment

From voucher to disconnect.

A single-use voucher mints on settlement, the tunnel comes up the moment you paste it, and the connection state ends when you disconnect.

  • What happens after I pay?

The on-chain settlement (or Stripe auth) mints a single-use voucher. Paste it into the client, the tunnel comes up, and the connection state is forgotten on disconnect. See the guide on how the exit region is selected.

Ready to tunnel? $0.10 a session, paid your way.

Pick a rail, pay, paste the voucher. Compare the four supported tokens and the card flow, or jump straight to checkout.
